Born in Los Angeles, CA and raised in the Central Valley, from an early age Danielle recognized her love for style and fashion, noting Alicia Silverstone's character Cher Horowitz from the 1995 movie Clueless to late '90s and early 2000s hip-hop music videos as style influences that shaped her early wardrobe choices. It was the art of creating "the outfit" that Danielle fell in love with and quickly recognized she had a natural eye for spotting and creating fashionable looks.
Known for her love of shopping and putting outfits together, during her last year in graduate school while completing her Master's degree in Counseling, Danielle was encouraged by a friend to pursue a career in personal styling. As a means to fuel her creativity, Danielle began the transition from therapist to stylist and founded Style Is My Obsession, a digital platform for daily outfit ideas and style inspirations, in May 2012.
With years of freelance virtual styling experience and the need to expand her reach to fashionistas outside of her immediate community, Danielle decided to expand Style Is My Obsession into an online styling and wardrobe consulting service dedicated to helping women discover their true style and embrace their own unique look through thoughtfully curated outfit ideas and wardrobe choices.
Danielle's fashionable insight and unique eye has produced partnerships and collaborations with beauty brands such as CurlBOX and China Glaze and furthered her position as the resident What To Wear stylist for Fashion Bomb Daily. As Style Is My Obsession continues to evolve into more than just a daily destination for outfit ideas, Danielle is committed to her vision of style, passion, and inspiration.
