Okay, so by now you all have probably noticed that I have a thing for graphic t-shirts. I'm not quite sure when this obsession began, but it's totally taking over my wardrobe.

Right now I'm in the midst of adding t-shirts of black musicians to my collection. I just purchased a Michael Jackson "Thriller" tee from Target a few days ago (*Style Note: Target's men's section has the best affordable graphic t-shirt selection). And while picking up this Michael Jackson tee, I spied a distressed color-block Mickey Mouse t-shirt.

I was on the hunt for a suitable Mickey Mouse tee for a while. I'd been debating whether or not wearing a cartoon character t-shirt while in your 30's would be considered juvenile, but I've spied my fair share of designer collaborations with the iconic Disney character, so I figured it couldn't hurt. I would add a "grown up" feel to the look and make it work.

To add an adult spin to a playful graphic t-shirt, pair it with sleek leather leggings and an embroidered leather jacket. Rock the look with a pair of red leather pumps, a red shoulder bag, and black square-frame sunglasses. Add the finishing touch with silver jewelry and a bold red lip.

What are your thoughts on adults wearing cartoon t-shirts? How do you dress up your favorite graphic tee?
